The celebration of the 90th anniversary of the heroic event of Pastrengo, which in 1848, during the First War of Independence, led three squadrons of Carabinieri to support and defend King Carlo Alberto as he advanced against the Austrians, was moving. The impetus, courage, and momentum of the charge led to a heroic victory that is celebrated in memory of the force's courage, sense of belonging, and loyalty to its institutions. Being welcomed by the former Deputy General Commander of the Force and current Commander of the Pastrengo Interregional Carabinieri Force, Riccardo Galletta, was a true pleasure.
